Welcome to the McCoy House at 5631 Rt. 28N. This was the former location for the Newcomb Historical Society, later chartered by New York State Board of Regents as the Newcomb Historical Museum. The home and garage were built from kits in 1919 by Robert Shaw McCoy. Mr. McCoy also built the farm manager’s kit house for the Pruyns in the farm area of the Santanoni Preserve.

This 2024 exhibit season the museum will have exhibits at both venues, the Seeley Exhibit Hall and the McCoy House. The McCoy House will feature enlargements of vintage miniature trade cards of Newcomb wilderness scenes printed in France before World War I.
